Share a table with neighbors

SIXTOP organizes communal dining tables for neighbors at local, high-quality restaurants. We make it effortless to develop new, local friendships — whether you're out alone or with a spouse, partner, or friend.

CORE members log-in and reserve 1-2 complimentary spots at an upcoming dining event planned exclusively for people that live in their community.

After checking in at the restaurant, as usual, attendees simply go to their table, verify that everyone’s in the right place at the right time and then… start building real relationships with people from their own community. Face-to-face.

We may provide an ice-breaker, just in case, but the group and its members are on their own to share, converse, interact, etc., in whatever ways they want. The opportunity to connect becomes what members make of it, as long as kindness and respect are always shown and common sense rules the day.

Importantly, participants order from the same menu at the same prices as all other patrons at the restaurant. At the end of an event, individuals and pairs receive unique bills from the host/venue — rather than an equal share of the table’s total bill — and go on their merry ways.

Members also gain access to digital Event Communities that facilitate connecting and/or sharing contact information with other tablemates, thereby avoiding the, “I’d love to stay in touch…” post-event clumsiness.

It’s easy. It’s fun. It’s new-school. It’s old-school. Most of all, it’s just good.

Serendipity & Diversity

At SIXTOP, we treasure serendipity and diversity — of thought, age, income, profession, race, religion, affiliation, interest, background...

So, anyone can become a CORE member, as long as they’re 21 or older and we can verify their email address, with an active credit card on file.

More importantly, you never know who you might meet and/or connect with at a SIXTOP table, because we don’t ask members to complete lengthy questionnaires or describe themselves in great detail (gasp!) and don’t permit members to qualify or screen for others (gasp, again!).

We intentionally take an inclusive and expansive approach to connection that seems to have been lost through time (and technology).

The SIXTOP story

Life happens. With relationships ending, moves to a new city, the rise of social media, and the impact of work-from-home, among other factors, our local social circles shrank over time. It became increasingly difficult for us to find nearby friends for dinners, nights out, coffee, and activities. SIXTOP was created to make it effortless to develop new, local relationships.
